A fifth year Fort Salem Theater tradition, Snow Business returns to spread holiday cheer with a festive celebration of showtunes and seasonal favorites! This original holiday sing-along brings together your favorite Fort Salem Theater performers for a joyful, high-energy performance that "decks the halls" with Broadway flair, featuring the Award-Winning Susi Shoes Dancers. Sing along to classic hits and feel the magic of the season as the whole family enjoys this heartwarming and fun-filled show.

Music From Salem’s Lila Brown will make a guest appearance on Viola at Saturday and Sunday’s performances!

Meet The Cast & Creative Team

  • Haley Beauregard

    SOLOIST

    Haley (she/her) is ready to get audiences in the spirit with her first year of Snow Business! After graduating with a BFA in Acting from SUNY Fredonia, she has primarily focused on film and commercial work, but her first true love was theater. Since returning from a stint in New York City, she has enjoyed reconnecting with her theatrical roots while also working as a screenwriter, voiceover artist, and producer.

    Recently she has appeared in “The Angel Next Door” (Margot), “Red Maple” (Theresa/Jennifer), “The Squirrels” (Chordata), “Into the Woods” (Rapunzel), “Tony and Tina’s Wedding” (Donna Marsala), and “Pump Up the Volume!” (Stacey). Other favorite theatrical credits include the NYC premiere of “Hysterical!” (Shannon), “Dog Sees God” (Van’s Sister), “Chicago” (Liz/“Pop”), and “The Diary of Anne Frank” (Anne). Recent film credits include “Love Undercover” (Scarlett Goldsmith), “The Dragons” (Freya Weisz), and “DALDOM” (Destiny), as well as the self-produced and locally shot feature film “Dual Plans” (Aly). She is currently in pre-production for her next self-produced short, slated to shoot in the new year. Haley’s voice can be heard during your Spotify ad breaks and in some of your favorite video games including “Knockout City” (EA), Freihofer’s, NYS Department of Health, HANYS (Overit Studios), 1st National Bank (Cathedral Sound Studios).

    When not in the theater, Haley can be found belting her heart out as the lead female vocalist of the rock band Motion Blur and bringing a little magic to life as your favorite Disney princess at private and community events.   • Arianna Dreher

    SOLOIST

    Arianna is thrilled to be back at Fort Salem after having appeared as Lauren in “Kinky Boots” earlier this season, and most recently, originating the role of Young Pennie in the world premier musical reading of “Good For You.”

    For the past two years, she’s been living in NYC as a proud student at The Institute for American Musical Theater. Some of Arianna's FST favorites include “Footloose” (Wendy Jo), “Spring Awakening” (Wendla), and “Bright Star” (Margo). Other credits include “Solstice: A Staged Reading of The New Musical” (Swing), and “YES! The Musical Parody” (Bridesmaid).

  • Courtnie Harrington

    SOLOIST

    Courtnie (she/her) is thrilled to be back for year five of Snow Business! She is a performer, director, and designer who grew up right next door in Greenwich. A graduate of The Institute for American Musical Theatre in NYC, she brings storytelling to life both onstage and behind the scenes. While in New York City, she performed with Hudson Classical Theater Company, where she also served as Hair Designer for “Pride and Prejudice” (Lydia Bennet) and “Sense and Sensibility” (Charlotte Palmer). Favorite credits include “Bright Star” (Alice Murphy), “Into the Woods” (Baker’s Wife), “Tick, Tick… BOOM!” (Susan), “Secret Garden” (Martha), and originating the role of Kayla Charter in “Solstice: A New Musical.” You can usually find her at Fort Salem Theater (her second home) where she’s helped create shows like “Kinky Boots,” “Godspell,” “Footloose,” and “Romeo & Juliet.” Love to all the friends and family who keep her going.   • Emily Jenkins

    Emily (she/her) is beyond thrilled to be back for her 2nd year of Snow Business! You last saw her on the FST stage as Nicola in “Kinky Boots”. Some of her favorite FST moments include: “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” (Lucy), “Spring Awakening” (Ilse), “Bright Star” (Lucy), “Grease” (Jan), and performing in There’s (Still) No Business Like Snow Business.

    Outside of FST, Emily spent a year in NYC soaking up all the magic it has to offer, studying with the amazing teams at Ryan Scott Oliver and Lindsay Mendez’s Actor Therapy and The Barrow Group. She is a proud University at Albany grad, where she majored in Theatre and minored in Fine Arts. Emily is endlessly grateful for the love and support from her family and friends. IG: @emilykjenkins

  • Zach Kaiser

    SOLOIST

    Zach (he/him) is originally from Yorkville, Ohio and moved to the Albany area in 2021 after spending 6 years living in Pittsburgh, PA where he attended Robert Morris University and The University of Pittsburgh and minored in theater. Zach has been involved in several Capital Region productions including: “Carrie: The Musical:” (Tommy Ross) with Steamer No. 10 Theatre, “Gypsy” (Tulsa) with Not So Common Players, “In the Blood” (Chilli/Jabber) with Harbinger Theater, “Dreamgirls” (Jimmy Early), “First Date” (Waiter), “Dog Sees God” (Van), “Violet” (Flick) with Schenectady Light Opera Company. He also recently produced “Hadestown: Teen Edition” with SLOC. Zach’s FST credits include: “Been Bad” (Rick) “Godspell” (Judas/John the Baptist), “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” (Oberon), “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” (Schroeder), and “Spring Awakening” (Melchior). 

    When not performing, Zach serves as an event planner, enjoys taking naps, and playing volleyball. Zach wishes you and your families a warm holiday season and sends his friends and family love. 

  • Liam Reynolds

    SOLOIST

    Liam Reynolds is thrilled to be in his first ever Snow Business! Favorite productions include "Sweeney Todd", "Kinky Boots" (Angle), "The Rocky Horror Show" (Phantom, u/s Narrator), "The Drowsy Chaperone" (Gangster #1), all at Fort Salem Theater. "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" (William Barfée) at Schuylerville Community Theater. He made his Mac-Haydn debut this past summer in "Escape to Margaritaville" (Ensemble).

    Liam has recently been nominated for Best Performer in a Musical for his role as William Barfée by BroadwayWorld Awards. He would like to thank his Mom, Dad, Siblings, and 8 dogs for their continued support!

  • Lauren Schirnhofer

    SOLOIST

    Lauren (she/her) is an actor, singer, and teaching artist who has performed and taught throughout the U.S. and internationally, from Europe to South America. After receiving a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Boston Conservatory, Lauren studied theater at L’Ecole de Comédie Musicale in Paris, France. While in Europe, she taught English through music and theater, and was seen in the French premieres of contemporary musical theater works “Edges” (Woman 1), “Ordinary Days” (Deb), “Island Song” (Shoshana), “Next Thing You Know” (Waverly), and in the Switzerland premiere of “Into the Woods” (Cinderella) with Collectif Sondheim in 2021.

    Now based in the Capital Region, she teaches at SPAC School of the Arts, Saratoga Children’s Theater, and from her home voice studio in Ballston Lake. She is honored to be a part of the Capital Region’s vibrant theater community where she has had the joy of creating and collaborating with Lake George Dinner Theater, Adirondack Theater Festival, Home Made Theater, Curtain Call Theater, and Fort Salem in their productions of “Into the Woods” (Snow White), “Mary Poppins” (Winifred Banks), and directing “Newsies Jr.” this past summer.   • The Susi Shoes Dancers

    GUEST PERFORMERS

    The Susi Shoes Dancers are made up of a diverse crowd of enthusiasts who dance and perform for community events. The goal is to touch the lives of young people and to get shoes and essential items gently and gracefully on the right hands and feet, and to always ensure that youth who cross their path stand tall with confidence and pride.

    The Susi Shoes Dancers are a 501c3 Non Profit Organization.

    This year’s dancers include Mari Barboza, Cindy Fronhofer, Janet Fronhofer, Beverly Kerr, Tom Kerr, Tish Russell, Valerie Sheldon, Lori Stokem, Susi Thomas, and Steve Warren.

  • Lila Brown

    GUEST PERFORMER (Saturday & Sunday Performances)

    Violist Lila Brown is a co-founder and the artistic director of Music from Salem, founded in 1986, and co-founder of the MfS Viola Seminar in 2011. A graduate of the Juilliard School, Brown was a member of the Boston Symphony from 1982-84. She moved to Austria in 1985 to study with Sandor Vegh and to play as principal violist of his Camerata Academica Salzburg. As a member of the Ensemble Modern, the renowned German ensemble for new music, Brown premiered works by Ligeti, Kurtag, Adams, Reich, Rhim, Zappa, and Lachenmann among others, and she has played chamber music tours of England with the International Musicians Seminar in Cornwall, England. Brown is a frequent guest artist at the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber Music Society, Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music, the Boston Artists Ensemble and Horten Kammermusikfest in Norway. She has been an assistant professor at the Vienna Hochschule, professor at the Robert Schumann Musikhochschule in Duesseldorf, and returning to the US in 2009, joined the faculty of The Boston Conservatory where she received a “Distinguished Music Faculty of the Year” award in 2012.

  • Tom Odell

    GUEST PERFORMER

    Tom Odell returns to Fort Salem Theater after serving as Music Director for “Spring Awakening", and “Mary Poppins,” where he met his recent wife, Jaynie Parmenter.

    PRofessionally, Tom serves as the Director of Music and Choirmaster at The Cathedral of All Saints. He received his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance locally at the College of Saint Rose. He is native of upstate New York and resident of Albany. As a collaborative artist, he has performed alongside singers, instrumentalists, and chamber ensembles. He held the position of Junior Pianist at the Seagle Festival in Schroon Lake, NY, one of the premier opera training summer programs in the nation. There he accompanied singers and music directed the Children’s Opera. Thomas has appeared in solo and studio recitals throughout the Capital District showcasing repertoire ranging from Bach to Ginastera. Thomas has also worked as the Choir Director for Schenevus Central School. There he gave piano lessons, taught general music, and conducted three choirs.

    In his free time, Thomas enjoys singing and playing traditional Irish music on traditional instruments.

  • Jaynie Parmenter

    GUEST PERFORMER

    Jaynie (She/Her) is a professional creative, working in graphic design, music and theatre. She graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City (2020) where she studied musical theatre. Notable credits include: “Mary Poppins” (Mary Poppins), 'and “Beethoven: Live in Concert” (Vivaldi/Ensemble) here at Fort Salem Theater, choreographing “Dead Man Dance” for Dirty Sweater Productions’ feature film, and directing “101 Dalmatians Kids” and “Finding Nemo Kids” at VES.

    Jaynie was recognized as a 2017 Jimmy Awards Nominee, which led her to perform on the Minskoff Theatre stage on Broadway. She was the 2017 inaugural Proctors High School Musical Theatre Awards “Best Actress” winner for her role as Mary Poppins, and later performed the role of Annabel McAlistair in “The Dolls of New Albion” (Off Broadway). Her single, “Over U” is available on Spotify and Apple Music.

    Jaynie is thrilled to appear alongside her new husband, Tom Odell, who she met here at Fort Salem Theater.

  • Stacy Hyson

    LIGHTING OPERATOR

    Stacy Hyson is excited to join Fort Salem Theater for their 2025 production of Snow Business! A senior at SUNY University at Albany she is majoring in Theater with a minor in Tech and Design, her previous credits at UAlbany include Assistant Stage Manager for “Our Town,” and Spot Light Op for “The Rocky Horror Show.” She also served as the Light Board Operator for Sand Lake Center for the Arts’ production of “Puffs” and Home Made Theater’s production of “1776.” 

  • Charles J. I. Krawczyk

    RESIDENT SCENIC DESIGNER

    Charles/Chuck (he/him) is a well-rounded artist with experience in creative writing, HDR photography, graphic design and 3D rendering, improvisational piano, original song composition and scenic design for theater. While attending Southern Vermont College 2001-2005 (bachelor’s in liberal arts) he worked summers at Old Castle Theater in Bennington, VT (2000 to 2005) where he learned, by observation, the creative nuances of set design as he worked as a stagehand. Charles is currently the Resident Scenic Designer and an Artistic Associate for Fort Salem Theater where, in October 2021, he debuted a design for The Diary of Anne Frank. In the 2022 season, he went on to design: Little Shop of Horrors, Steel Magnolias, Pride and Prejudice, Grease, The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition, Bright Star, I Love You Because, Spring Awakening, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Footloose,  The Little Mermaid Jr., The Pirates of Penzance, The Rocky Horror Slow, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Into the Woods, Beethoven, Godspell, Mary Poppins, The Drowsy Chaperone, Kinky Boots, and Tick, Tick…Boom!, along with designing Grant’s Ghost for Hubbard Hall on the side. Charles has also directed Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus in 2004 at his then-former High School, and The Glass Menagerie at Southern Vermont College in 2009.

    Prior to his work at Fort Salem Theater, Charles has over eight years of set design experience, artistic/stage directing, assistant directing and serving as a theatrical creative-solutions consultant (for a local high school drama club). Shows he has designed there include: The Diary of Anne Frank (2007), Once Upon a Mattress, Rumors, The Importance of Being Earnest, Beauty and the Beast, Into the Woods, Twelve Angry Jurors, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, And Then There Were None, The Sound of Music, Noises Off, Shrek the Musical, and ended his run there with The Mousetrap (2015).

    After taking some time away from theatrical design Charles feels truly thankful and honored to reignite his passion for design at Fort Salem Theater and is very honored to have helped design Grant’s Ghost for Hubbard Hall.

  • Mel Magri

    ASSOCIATE SOUND DESIGNER

    Mel is a playwright, songwriter, and published poet who recently worked on Fort Salem Theater productions of “Tick, Tick…Boom!” (Stage Manager), “Into the Woods” (Assistant Stage Manager), “ICU” (Stage Manager),  “Macbethany” (Stage Manager), “Sweeney Todd” (Stage Manager), and “Kiinky Boots” (Stage Manager).

    She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and Music Business from Five Towns College where she graduated valedictorian of her class, and has worked in many facets of the arts both on and off stage.

    This November, her musical “Good For You” was presented as a reading in Fort Salem Theater’s Cabaret Room!

  • Ben Martin

    PERCUSSIONIST

    Ben (he/him) is excited to spread some holiday cheer in his second production of “Snow Business”. Having graduated from The College of Saint Rose (B.S. Music Education 2019) and the University of Hartford (M.M. Jazz Studies 2021) he is currently a performing musician and educator throughout the capital region. He has performed in jazz bands, symphonic wind ensembles, various churches, rock bands, cover bands and original music groups. One of his main rock bands Thanks! is set to release brand new music this coming spring! He has also been a part of ensembles featured in Downbeat Magazine that had the opportunity to open for famous jazz pianist Joey Alexander. Musical theater productions he has been heard drumming for for include “Spring Awakening”, “Footloose”, “The Rocky Horror Show”, “Into the Woods”, “Cinderella”, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, “The Drowsy Chaperone”, “Legally Blonde” and “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”. Ben has taken a fondness and appreciation for musical theater and can’t wait to perform in more productions in the future! IG: @benmartindrums 

  • Tom Moeller

    SOUND DESIGNER

    Tom (he/him) is happy to return to Salem after working on “The Rocky Horror Show,” “Spring Awakening,” and “The Pirates of Penzance,” among others.

    Lately, he's been kept in the dark doing sound for Home Made Theater and other local groups at Saratoga Arts' Dee Sarno Theater, Saratoga City Music Hall, Circa21 at McGregor Links, Canfield Casino, the Gideon Putnam, SPAC, Spa Catholic, Caffe Lena, Saratoga Town Hall in Schuylerville, and the Spa Little Theater. Special thanks to all the 1's and 0's for going the right places most of the time.

  • Jared West

    MUSIC DIRECTOR / PIANIST

    Jared (he/him) is excited to end the year with another “Snow Business!” He has been both onstage as a performer and behind the scenes as a music director or pianist. Onstage, he was most recently seen in “Footloose” (Reverend Moore), “Bright Star” (Daddy Murphy), “Pride and Prejudice” (Wickham/Collins) and “The Diary of Anne Frank” (Otto Frank) here at Fort Salem, “A New Brain” (Roger) at OhLook Theatre and “A Man of No Importance” (Sully O’Hara) at Brick Road Theatre. Other favorite roles are “Ragtime” (Younger Brother), “Guys and Dolls” (Sky Masterson) and “Cabaret” (Cliff). 

    Jared has recently appeared behind the keys for “Rocky Horror,” “Kinky Boots,” “The Drowsy Chaperone,” “Grease,” and “Little Shop of Horrors” at Fort Salem, “Ebenezer Scrooge “at Pocket Sandwich Theatre and “White Christmas,” “AIDA” and “Gypsy” at Firehouse Theatre.

  • Kyle West

    DIRECTOR / CHOREOGRAPHER

    Kyle (he/him) has three decades of creating award-winning theatre under his belt, working as a producer, director, choreographer, designer, and performer. His work has been seen all across the US, from Cape Cod, to Boston, Arizona and Dallas, to New York and has been recognized by the AriZoni Awards of Excellence, BroadwayWorld Awards, Column Awards, Annie Award, MET Awards, and MHSDG Awards, among others.

    Most recently, Kyle took a brief sabbatical from Fort Salem Theater to serve as Company Manager for the esteemed Williamstown Theatre Festival, where he led a company of 350 artists and staff members. There, he worked alongside the talents of Pamela Anderson, Amber Heard, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Susan Sarandon, Kate Walsh, Chris Messina, Brandon Flynn, Whitney Peak, William Jackson Harper, Elizabeth Lail, Tonatiuh, Jensen McRae, among many others.

    At Fort Salem Theater, he has directed and choreographed “Salem Under The Stars,” “The Marvelous Wonderettes,” “Next to Normal,” “There’s No Business Like Snow Business,” “Grease,” “The Pirates of Penzance,” “Agnes of God,” and “Mary Poppins” and has designed costumes for FST’s “Pride & Prejudice,” “Grease,” and “Bright Star.” Other direction and choreography credits include “Hairspray,” “Evita,” “White Christmas,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Guys and Dolls,” “The Music Man,” Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” “West Side Story,” “Into the Woods,” “RENT,” “The Rink,” “Little Shop of Horrors,” “A Chorus Line,” “Chicago,” “La Cage aux Folles,” and “Cabaret.”

    Kyle is humbled to be the executive and artistic director of Fort Salem Theater, and in June 2023, was named one of the Top 10 New York State LGBTQ+ Leaders by I ❤️ NY.
