Tick, Tick... Boom! is Jonathan Larson’s powerful, autobiographical musical about the pursuit of dreams and the pressures of time. Set in 1990s New York, this electrifying show follows Jon, an aspiring composer, on the brink of turning 30 as he grapples with his career, relationships, and the ticking clock of his ambitions. Torn between his passion for creating revolutionary theater and the realities of everyday life, Jon must decide if chasing his dreams is worth the sacrifices. Featuring Larson’s signature rock-infused score, Tick, Tick... Boom! is a heartfelt, high-energy journey through the trials of self-discovery, creativity, and the relentless drive to make something meaningful before time runs out. A thrilling and deeply personal story from the creator of Rent, this musical reminds us all to embrace the moment and follow our passions, no matter the cost.
